These well-established magnificent gardens have been open to the public for nearly 30 years. Les Jardins Tranquilles is an arboretum and park extending to over 12 acres. It has thousands of trees of different varieties including many oaks and acers. You can admire the many colourful herbaceous borders, fountains and statues and absorb the natural beauty of this idyllic and peaceful location a magical paradise. Long walks through the natural woodlands adjacent to the river where you can stop and take a picnic using the many tables and chairs provided. The healing powers of a quiet moment spent in these gardens cannot be underestimated. Refreshments are served in the garden ‘café’ and also inside the marquee. Coffee, tea, cappuccino, cold drinks and ice cream. Open April 1st until October 31st. Opening hours: 12.00-19.00. Open every public holiday.
