Exhibition: Christian Benoit

A 71-year-old retiree from Périgord Vert, on the banks of the Dronne, returned to the Dordogne in 2018.
As a self-taught amateur, I was introduced to watercolour thanks to specific courses with a watercolourist a good ten years ago, and I continue to train in this technique that I am passionate about.

I like the figurative, working with water and a palette of colours that allows me to interpret reality to retranscribe light and the transmission of emotions, my favourite themes are around nature, landscapes, water, trees, the sea, animals, flowers, inspired by walks or trips, in the Dordogne or elsewhere.

I started exhibiting in 2023, and I really enjoy sharing this passion.
