Loop around Brantome Abbey

On leaving the car park, turn right onto “Chemin du vert galant”, then go straight ahead. Before the traffic lights, take the path opposite and go along the banks of the Dronne under the
bridge. Once on the path, which veers off to the right, cross the road and continue straight ahead.
Continue along this road then take the track on the left to cross the road again and continue along a footpath located opposite your position to finally reach the road on the right and then go straight ahead.
About fifty metres after the last house (with a view of the surrounding area), take the track on the right and go downhill for 1km.
Follow this road on your right, then under a house, turn left to take the path, at the end of it, take the road to cross over the bridge.(Moulin de Grenier)

Once you reach the stop sign, continue on the road to the right behind the slip road, do not take the route des Combes but take the next left. At the crossroads in the hamlet, choose the path opposite, then once at the fork, to the right, continue past the caves and over the bridge.
Turn left at the farm. At the fork in the road and at the crossroads, turn right and then right again at the stop sign.
Continue towards the abbey, pass in front of it, without crossing the 1st bridge, then take the “bent bridge” to get to the car park and get back to your starting point.
