Description
Echourgnac Abbey, a place of silence and nature where you can recharge your batteries, welcomes you all year round. 19 nuns live in this monastery, which remains a private place to live and work.
Renovated in 2018, the abbey church is faithful to the Cistercian style, marked by simplicity and sobriety.
In the monastic craft shop, you’ll find our cheeses and confectionery, as well as other products from France’s monasteries and local producers.
A permanent exhibition explains the history of the abbey and the life of the nuns.
The surrounding woods offer a number of walks, including a Terra Aventura trail.
A car park and shaded picnic area await you for a rejuvenating break.
