Moulin de La Veyssière
Description
A water mill dating back to the 16th century, the Moulin de la Veyssière is the last working oil mill in the Vern Valley at Neuvic-sur-l’Isle.
Since 1857, we’ve been producing artisanal oils, flours and sweet and savoury grocery products based around walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds and peanuts.
A true living heritage, a place for living and sharing, the mill has managed to retain its authentic character, which will delight both lovers of old stone and lovers of gastronomy.
Concerned with showing and sharing our know-how, we offer a complete immersion in the history of the mill, thanks to our different areas: a museum area, an educational orchard, a picnic area.
A gourmet shop set up in the mill’s former bakery showcases the mill’s produce.
