The Gardens of Château de Losse

5km from Montignac, the gardens of Château de Losse overlook the Vézère. Built on terraces and classified as a remarkable garden, they are a beautiful setting for the elegant Renaissance château that they have enclosed since the 16th century. There is plenty of time to wander around the park and take in the exhibitions in the towers.
Your walk takes you through the “green rooms”, set out on terraces overlooking the Vézère. Follow the wisteria arbour to reach the pathway decorated with boxwood and lined with roses. In the lower garden, a small canal runs through topiaries of various species. Return to the park via the dry moat, with your children playing in the mini-labyrinth in the bamboo grove.
