Description
Very pretty walk in green Périgord, admire Mareuil castle, one of the most imposing fortresses in Périgord, then head for St Pardoux and discover the charms of this perched village: Romanesque church, washhouse, sarcophagus fountain and cluzeaux. On the way back, take a break at the Château de Beauregard.

From the signpost on the Place de la Mairie, turn right towards La Rochebeaucourt. Follow this road for 100m, then at the crossroads turn right towards “Les Forgerons”. Once in the hamlet, turn left onto the unsurfaced track.
